Audio: Chapter 26 & 27

Last week we introduced participles in chapter 26 and then we covered Present Participles in chapter 27. This is a new step in the Greek forms and its a very import topic for us to learn as we continue our path to becoming competent in the Greek language of the New Testament. Important to know about particples is that they are verbal adjectives. This means that there are verbal aspects and adjectival aspects that form a given particple. Enjoy the audio and please let me know if you have any questions.

Audio: Chapter 25

Last week we covered chapter 25 on the Perfect verb tense. It was a very informative class and we dealt a good deal with verbal aspect and the problem of the Perfect tense at the beginning of our time together. I hope you will all know this form well because it is a very important form for narrative Scripture in the New Testament. It is not a hard form to recognize, in my opinion, so it ends up being fairly easy to learn from that standpoint. Please leave your questions and comments below. God bless you as you study His Word!

Audio: Chapter 24

Two weeks ago (given that I’ve waited so long to post it) we covered chapter 24 on the Aorist and Future Passive forms of the greek verbs. This was a good chapter to start wrapping up the loos ends of all our verb tenses that we have studied so far. It’s not that pleseant to add even more forms with new tense formatives and “slightly” different personal endings… but nevertheless, we must do it anyway! Please post any questions you have that were not answered in the audio. Thanks!
